July is disability pride month. You don’t see it advertised many places, despite us being a massive part of the population!

Yep! The prize is social isolation, being denied career opportunities, having to fight for support etc etc. I’d much rather lose.
The UK now no longer pays disability benefit to people who have flare ups. If you have ‘normal’ periods you are not considered disabled.
Yep disabled are one of the groups most attacked. And it feels like nobody cares

visually impaired (not blind(yet)) from keratoconus, the number of people who say “oh im blind without my glasses too” drives me up the wall. nothing to do but pretend to commiserate.
