    Whole thing was a manufactured non story by part time journalists

    Asking drivers leading questions about whether they’d be in to old spec engines and then cranking out some columns on it

    The state of motorsports journalism these days is an absolute joke tbh. 3 paragraphs of nothing per article

      Most journalism is a joke nowadays. Print/text media makes no money, so it’s all clickbait to drive engagement and clicks for ad revenue. It’s a problem with every other sport too as far as I can see.
