Looks like he got a 3-spot penalty.
Even with the penalty, that’s a monster qualifying for Haas. Heartbreaking for Hulk, though… to have it all come together in the lap and a penalty leaving a bad aftertaste on what should be a banner day.

It seems like Hulk is always good at qualifying compared to Mag. But come race day, they seems to be always right beside each other despite the grid difference during the start.
The race pace on the Haas is just absolute garbage. I don’t understand how they can struggle so much every race.
