I hated them when I was kid so I missed the golden age (also didn’t really have money for the good ones).

Now I’m very entrenched into FFXIV and GW2 but there isn’t really a community here on lemmy for them.

    I played the open beta for WoW and was done with the genre before it was over. Tried a few others at the behest of friends but, get annoyed at the mechanics intended to make them addictive (something to appreciate about my fucky dopamine signaling, I suppose).
